A WORD FROM THE OWNERS, CATHERINE AND BRUNO:
"We fell in love with this property in June 2010, and became the happy owners in July 2010 of the "le rale" estate which we renamed as "LES GITES ET ECURIE DU CHEVAL BLANC" because most of our horses were "white" at that time. Small anecdote: we got married on the 17th of July 2010, the day we opened the estate to tenants who were able to join us in the celebrations. Since then, we have developed this historical place and restored the buildings with lots of love and passion.
Our love for "good food" has led us to create a healthy cuisine using mainly local ingredients. Today, our credo is: EAT WELL, HEALTHY, AND LOCAL, and this is what really sets us apart: we love to cook and eat well every day. We also have the same high standards for our tenants."
Discover our estate, with its diverse and extra activities, for your holidays, events, leisure activities...
Catherine: I am currently a cooking teacher, I train young people by passing on my passion for the job, for cooking and my love of the profession. I will be delighted to make you discover this passion during a cooking class at our gites. As a horse lover and rider for 42 years, you will surely come across me with my 5 horses that usually graze along the edge of the estate.
Bruno: I am a former restaurateur and pizzaiolo passionate about cooking. I opened my pizzeria "la PAYSA" on the estate in August 2017. I only use and promote local farm produce and ingredients. I also cultivate saffron at our saffron farm and try to show the many natural benefits it contains in the artisanal products sold at the estate.
